Which lesson length is best?
One hour can suit complete beginners. A 1.5- or 2-hour lesson often provides more varied practice and uninterrupted progress.
What are the terms for block bookings?
Block bookings are sold as a discounted 10-hour package and must be taken at a minimum of one lesson per week until all hours have been used. The discounted price is offered because you are purchasing the full 10-hour package in advance. The package cannot be split, and partial refunds are not available for unused hours. To get the full benefit of your block booking, we recommend using your lessons every week. If lessons are not taken regularly, you may not receive the full value of the package. A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or rearrange any lesson.
Does an intensive course include the practical test and use of the car on test day?
No. The intensive course covers the driving lessons only. The pupil must book their own practical driving test in advance and pay the test fee separately. A valid test appointment must already be in place before the intensive course is arranged. Use of the tuition car on test day is also charged separately. The final charge will depend on how long the car is required and the location of the test centre.
